Tasting Notes: Our flagship Shiraz Viognier. Only made in the very best years, using only the very best parcels of fruit. Our Reserve wines epitomise time, place and effort in the purest of forms. Our very best expression of variety, viticulture, location, season and winemaking. Inky brilliant purple-red colour. So fragrant and complex, the wine is bursting with raspberries, blueberries, black fruits and plums. There’s a purple floral element and a cache of spices, clove, anise, cedar and toasty oak. The palate is equally as fresh and vibrant, but with further layers of depth and complexity. The berry fruits have a mouth-watering juiciness and the fine tannin a gravelly, granitic texture. There is a darker ferrous element too that is compelling, along with the wine’s fabulous length.
